Our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group meets every month - except January 2021 when we will have our 2nd annual Dementia Wellness Expo Thursday 1/21/21.

About the Event
Our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group meetings are free, open to the public, and refreshments are provided.
Every month we have a guest speaker who provides Dementia-specific information about resources, research, strategies, techniques, activities, medications, and more.
In July we will have two guest speakers: Marilyn Fennimore, Licensed Family Services Counselor with Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemeteries and Karen McGee CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner of Senior Helpers of Panama City.
9:35 Marilyn will be discussing how to achieve "Peace of Mind."
10:00 Karen will present information regarding "Senior Gems - A Guide for Family members with Dementia," managing difficult behaviors such as hallucinations and dellusions, and the difference between Lewy Bodies dementia and Alzheimer's.
During COVID 19, our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group has been meeting using Zoom but beginning in June 2020 limited space will be available at the Beach Chamber for an in-person…
