This month we have two guest speakers for our 2nd Tuesday Parkinson's Support Group meeting in November 2020.Â
Jim Turnbach from SpeechVive will be here in-person demonstrating the electronic medical device that improves loudness and answering questions via live webinar.
Alaine Keebaugh PhD from Boston Scientific will be discussing "PD and Genetics."
We expect Dr. Tara Kimbason to join us for a few minutes to talk about our 2nd annual Parkinson's Wellness Expo live webinar "Physicians and PD" the afternoon of Thursday 1/21/21. Â

Before the guest speakers begins, our Care partners introduce themselves and have an opportunity to discuss their life experiences or concerns about living with Parkinson's disease. There is plenty of time after the presentation to ask questions, talk about common interests, concerns, and challenges. Â Throughout the meeting we socialize, share ideas, help each other solve problems, and show support for each other in the process.
Our meetings are free, open to the public. Â When in-person, refreshments are provided. Â Every month we have a guest speaker who provides Parkinson's-specific information about resources, research, strategies, techniques, activities, medications, and more. Â We use the Senior Helpers Parkinson's Care Program to offer strategies for motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease and resosurces for improved function.
Call Senior Helpers: 850.215.1793 for free Parkinson's Care Program DVD and handout with strategies listed.
Join us in November to see what a difference a support group can make in your life!! Â We look forward to seeing you on 11/10/20!!
