This is a follow-up to “A Morning with with Teepa” event giving attendees time to practice caregiver techniques such as hand-under-hand and using a Positive Approach. The focus is on activities of daily living, specifically eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking, and grooming.

Members of our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group of Panama City frequently refer to the "Senior GEMS" strategies as a guide for families living with dementia. Our  best meetings were when we were able to sit around the table and discuss matters that no one understands - until they have a family member or friend living with Dementia.  Now we meet virtually, until such time as it is safe to start meeting again in-person.  We have limited in-person attendance at the Beach Chamber with social distancing.
