About the Event
Our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group has been meeting each month since June 2018. Our meetings are free, open to the public, and refreshments are provided. Every month we have a guest speaker who provides Dementia-specific information about resources, research, strategies, techniques, activities, medications, and more. We use Senior Gems and Positive Physical Approach to offer Care partners with solutions to manage difficult behaviors, methods to plan a meaningful day, and techniques for creating moments of joy for people living with Dementia.
During COVID 19, our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group has been meeting using Zoom but beginning in June 2020 limited space will be available at the Beach Chamber for an in-person meeting with social distancing.
